Review of Network (1976) by Copasetic S — 23 Mar 2010
What a super-brilliant film this is.
Every performance, crafted and shot so perfectly with so many levels, it gets better the more I watch it. Chayefsky masterfully composed such a real and dynamic world, full of humanity and subtext, climaxing on poignant and timeless messages about corruption and perception. This film is very hip-hop, and every actor thrives in the creative process of Lumet, no wonder there were so many nominations. Pretty damn impressive.
