Review of Network (1976) by Gareth M — 08 Jan 2012
One of Sidney Lumet's best, and a film that has only become ever-more relevant over the years. It's a brilliant, darkly humourous satire about the television industry. The screenplay is excellent and it's no surprise it attracted such a strong cast.
Peter Finch gives one of his most memorable performances and his "mad as hell" speech is truly iconic.
