OH My GOD I LOVE this movie. How come this came on HBO at 4 am the other night and I had to stop what I was doing and stay up and watch it. This movie is so off the wall crazy I just don't even know what to say.
I love her language. I love Liam Neeson's corny/horny awkwardness. I love Natasha Richardson's not-so-southern accent. I love how an entire hospital of psychological experts confuse Nell's homesickness with autism.
And I love when NELL takes her clothes off in the Pool Hall and out pervs the perverts just by being her wild and free self. Not to mention the endless quoatables "may wah wih lauwa" dow ar beeyootifuh AZ TAARZZuh".
This movie is highly entertaining in the most retarded of ways. And everything else aside, Jodie Foster is brilliant. Its just one of those unexplainable uncategorizable random movies that only come around maybe once a decade.
Not for the stiff or the snobby.
