Review of Neerja (2016) by Rikin S — 19 Feb 2016
Neerja - Everyone had great expectations from this movie purely due to the inspirational story of Neerja Bhanot and exceptional courage and bravery that she had portrayed during the flight's hijack. But to weave that real life character and the story-telling of the movie wasn't close to the mark of inspiring or conveying her sacrifice. The character of Neerja was extremely intelligent and brave put unfortunately Sonam Kapoor could't do justice to the role.
In simple words the message in the movie was not rightly conveyed, acting didn't do justice to the actual character of Neerja Bhanot and the story-telling was poor, I hope a documentary is made on her with some powerful theatre actors and effective story-telling as this is a story worth telling to everyone.
