Review of Needful Things (1993) by Jacek S — 25 Aug 2009
A pretty good tale set in Castle Rock, warns that sometimes the material objects and wishes we need may result in us losing what we actually need to remain humane. It is a pretty funny movie at times especially the fights and the constant swearing.
It's nice to see Max von Sydow assume the role of the devil unlike his role in the Exorcist who casted out demons. He plays a pretty convincing mischievous devil.
