I found this film to have a very interesting concept about the devil and the temptation he brings with him. It also nods at one of the books in The Bible, depicting Satan as a trusting individual and everybody will believe him.

The devil has a name and that is Leland Gaunt, who is played by Max von Sydow, who does a wonderful job as Gaunt. It funny to see somebody who played a priest and now plays the devil. I also like Ed Harris' performance as the protagonist, Sheriff Alan Pangborn.

Its interesting to see how people are too trusting and are willing to believe anything or do anything for somebody. It shows how fragile people are. Its not a horror film by any means but a really suspenseful thriller, and another wonderful Stephen King adaptation.

I'll have to read the book to see how different it is.
