I'll never understand how a book so good can be turned into a movie so terrible. And not only is the adaptation ridiculously bad, but the production quality looks more like 1973 than 1993. This is bad in so many ways and I'm not sure why I actually sat through the entire thing.
Wishful thinking, I guess.
