Another film that was not an easy watch. Its sometimes amusing as it shows what life was like in the 1970's in that part of the world.
Somethings like equality, opportunity that are all givens these days are shown to be painfully lacking in this film that shows the downward spiral of an intelligent young teen into a knife wielding maniac.
Whether you can draw parallels with the modern world with this I'm not sure, but its not an easy watch and not for the faint hearted.
