Review of Ned Kelly (2003) by Lisa C — 29 Jul 2008
Really quite disappointing run of the milll biopic that fails to deliver in buidling characters. There are no backstories to speak of and some charcters just fall by the wayside...such as Geoffrey Rush, this part could've been played by anyone, he had three scenes in the film and maybe 2 paragraphs of dialogue.
Ledger is the only light in the film, with a performance that tries to break the boundaries of this flat film.
