Review of Ned Kelly (2003) by Gideon H — 27 Aug 2008
From a production stand point this movie is well made with good costumes and it looks like it's taking place in it's time period (as best as I can figure, I'm no historian). And the acting and everything else in this movie is fine (although there are one too many "I'm Ned Kelly and you can legally shoot me" speeches in my opinion. Like everytime he has hostages, he gives this speech.).
Anyway, the major faw of this movie was how unengaging it was.
After about forty minutes I wanted to find something else to do. I would say this was due to feeling that I've seen this all done before, similar situations, similar speeches.
Still, it's well made for what it is.
