Review of Ned Kelly (2003) by Paul C — 22 May 2009

Ned Kelly, the famous Australian outlaw is given 2 odd hours to give his turn of events on how life for him and his family realy was and Heath Ledger does him justice. Most of your compassion and sympathy goes out to Ned and his wrongly accused family as you see them go through tough times with a few tear jerking moments.

Although the story is suppose to be serious and give another take on the outlaw, it still portrays a light hearted theme throughout with some funny moments and strong language. i'm a sucker for a western, this was before I knew Geoffrey Rush, Heath Ledger and Orlando Bloom was starring in it so you can imagine the little face light up in blockbusters when I saw the cover.

My verdict is get down to your closest dvd store and buy! P.S have some tissues ready for the end, guaranteed you'll be weeping like fat kid's armpits in summer.
