Review of Near Dark (1987) by Jonathan A — 25 Jul 2008
Neat little vampire tale about a man joining a traveling band of vampires after he is bitten by one of the troupe. Great blending of the western and horror genres, sometimes the film has it's dry spots with some none too-interesting exposition, but it makes up for the rest of it which has some great vampire violence and surprising plot twists.
Cool music by Tangerine Dream, too.
