Review of Near Dark (1987) by Miguel P — 04 Feb 2010
This proves Kathryn Bigelow was meant for greatness with this film.A love story, a western, and a good horror movie all wrapped up in one package.
Caleb(Adrian Pasdar) meets a girl that he's realy into which is Mae.(Jenny Wright) They hookup and makeout and she bites him. The people who she is hanging out with takes him and tells him that if don't learn to be a vampire quickly they will kill him.
Now this is what a vampire love story should be not that dreamy Twilight. It gives you everything romance, action and gore. There rumors that they want to remake it but Twilight is stoping them. Even if they do remake it, it will never catch the flare of the orignal.
