Review of Near Dark (1987) by Cody P — 28 Feb 2010
For the most part, 'Near Dark' is really, really great. Fun, thrilling, and thoughtful from its family components to its action sequences. Seems to me the father-daughter-on-the-trail were given short-shift in the second act somewhere in the editing room.
And the blood transfusion at the end is a lazy way to wrap this puppy up. But otherwise, solid and memorable.
