Twenty-year years before she won her Best Director Oscar for 'The Hurt Locker', Kathryn Bigelow co-wrote and directed this cult film about a group of vampires terrorising the modern American West.
'Near Dark' still holds up very well today. It's atmospheric, darkly humourous and startling with a movie-stealing performance by Bill Paxton.
