Review of Near Dark (1987) by Konrad R — 11 Sep 2010
It has kind of 80s mood which you cannot get in movies made nowadays plus beautiful music by Tangerine Dream. Half of the cast appeared in 'Aliens' as well ;) It's interesting to see how much later vampire movies are based on these forgotten films, including contribution to the modern vampire myth.
For someone just looking for entertainment it does not build up the tension well enough.
