One Of The Best Vampire Films I've Seen Ever. Near Dark Is The Story About A Young Man Caleb, Who Is Bitten By The Woman He Is Flirting With. The Young Woman Is Mae & She's A Vampire. Her Family Of Vampires Welcome Caleb Into Their Gang, On One Condition He Has To Prove Himself A Proper Vampire & Make His First Kill.
This Romance Filled Horror-Western Came Long Before Twilight, True Blood & The Vampire Diaries, Although The Story Of Dracula Has Always About One Of Romance, This Is One Of The First Modern Vampire Stories, Which Most Contain The Romance Element.
Just A Shame It Was Overshadowed By The Lost Boys On It's Original Release As This Brings Vamp Stories Serious Again, After A Long String Of Pointless Vamp Flicks.
