Why the hell does Oliver Stone repeatedly bash us over the head with the message he's trying to put across (in this case, media glamourises violence)? Didn't work for me at all!
Everything is overdone; The acting, the cuts to weird imagery and of course, the violence. It's meant to be satirical, but it comes off as just weird imho.
It is said that the movie does not resemble Tarantino's script at all... I just hope that QT does the remake one day and films the story the way it was meant to be done!
