Review of Natural Born Killers (1994) by Edgar C — 29 Jul 2011
Oliver Stoned (that's actually a joke a friend of mine came up with, and I still find it funny). Tarantino insisted in the fact(?) that Stone had exceptional directing skills and that he was provided enough material to create his best film and outdo JFK. This is not Stone. This is a guy outside of his cinematic area pushing boundaries in the way his drugs told him to. Well; good ideas can come out of that state, you know? Delirious ride, outstandingly uneven in style, moderate in substance and light in originality (enough with the Bonnies and Clydes though).
82/100.
