Review of National Treasure (2004) by Josh S — 05 Jul 2013
Following on the success of Pirates of the Caribbean, this is another successful attempt at making a film inspired from a Disneyland ride. The film is about an archaeologist on the trail of a vast treasure hidden during the Revolutionary War by a group of Freemasons; in doing so they have to watch their back from cops and a rival group that are also looking to find the treasure.
An adventure movie in the same key as Indiana Jones and conspiracy inspired twists, National Treasure is highly entertaining and intriguing without ever being obvious.
