Review of National Treasure (1927) by Ben S — 06 Aug 2012
This is the first of the National Tresure films in which Nicholas Cage plays Ben Gates who is trying to find some hidden tresure left by some stone masons, however to get to the tresure there are numerous clues that need to be found, some of which are riddles and some of which are objects. The story is very interesting and has taught me some things about American history that I did not know before, and includes some really cool scenes, such as Ben Gates and some colleagues stealing the declaration of independance (I did not realise so much security was used to protect it). The cast was pretty good and they all played their parts well with some of the dialogue being quite funny. I have to say that it is certainly not a boring film as there is always something interesting or exciting going on. The only thing I don't really like about the film is the music which seems a bit rubbish becuase it sounds a bit out of date and a bit cheesy at times. Overall this is a very good film and is really suitable for anyone to see as it is funny, not too violent and is not too hard to follow. Definitely worth a watch.
