Van Wilder (Ryan Reynolds) is a charming, affable, and popular senior going through his seventh year of college. His education is supplemented by a service where he teaches dorky wallflowers how to be cool kids who can throw awesome parties.
Like most movies of this kind, Van Wilder's fortune is jeopardized by a douchey prep kid (Daniel Cosgrove). You're on the right track if reading this plot description makes you think that Van Wilder sounds like an inferior clone of Animal House.
This movie is stuffed with sex jokes, gross out gags, and hedonistic references, but none of it adds up to anything that is all that funny.
