No one can question the longevity of this movie. It has played non-stop on cable for decades. It is a bonafide classic. At the same time, I can't help but feel it is a tad overratted. Of course, much of this may have to do with my taste in comedy.
This movie is full of wacky situations, rife with humor, but lacks the funny lines and clever turn of phrase that I appreciate so much. Still this movie has one of the strongest comedy casts of its era, and almost all the actors deliver.
