National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1 is one of the funnier spoof movies. It's not as good as Spaceballs, but it's up there with Not Another Teen Movie. I'm such a fan of the Lethal Weapon series that the characters of Colt and Luger crack me up.
I don't want to give away any of the jokes because they are funny but I will say that it spoofs popular 90's movies Basic Instinct, The Silence of the Lambs, Wayne's World, and even Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
At only 83 minutes, it's a funny distraction.
