The spoof film genre isn't for everybody but for those who love them, Loaded Weapon ranks around the middle. Making fun of the buddy cop movies that were quite popular at the time, Loaded Weapon contains aspects of films such as Lethal Weapon (of course), Silence of the Lambs, and Basic Instinct.
What this film has that many of the spoof films today lack is a star studded cast with cameos by everyone from Whoopi Goldberg and William Shartner to Corey Feldman and James Doohan.
If spoof films are your thing, you are likely to dig Loaded Weapon. If you aren't, this one sure isn't going to change your mind.
