National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989), a film franchise which held a great deal of nostalgia for me, some of the first VHS's I owned. It's good, still a watchable film but Chevy Chase is an awful actor, his comic timing, however, is great and it saves the film, along with knockout performances from Randy Quaid and a young Johnny Galecki.

Definitely one to have in your Xmas stocking during the festive season.
