"The truth always comes out eventually".

I watched this film for three reasons, it was filmed in South Africa, I know a few of the actors in the film and I was curious about this story. The film is a lot better than what I thought it would be, and the reason I intially thought it would be average is because most tv movies i've seen are not great. It's well written and well acted, particularly Tracy Pollan, I really sympathised with her character. What makes this really look like a film made for tv is the cinematography and lighting. Almost every scene looks like it has studio lights. I think Mikael Salomon the director who was the cine on film such as Backdraft and Far And Away, should have had a hand in that department on this film as well. The two main Spanish characters, the actors have not lost there South African accent. And this is important this kind of detail because this film is predominantly aimed at the USA audience, and fair amount of them have an ear for the Spanish accent. Amy Gumenick was well cast, and a good performance to go along with it. This movie is far from brilliant, but the story is easy to follow and good enough to keep the audience's attention throughout.
