Review of Nashville (1975) by Jenny R — 10 Mar 2008
The best Altman movie I have seen, (besides one other which I'm too embarrassed to admit.) Really engaging characters and fascinatingly bad music. The moment where the BBC woman counts in French is one of the most subtle, yet dead on commentaries on ego and pretentiousness I have ever seen.
It's textbook.
