Review of Nashville (1975) by Ronnie B — 03 Apr 2008
I'm really not entirely sure what I thought of this one completely. I mean, I enjoyed it....I enjoyed the fact it was poking fun at the country music scene and it's absurdity...But it definately isn't one of those movies that has dated well. The 70's vibe is real strong in this one.
But, as a piece that was probably better appreciated in the 70's but that has points in it that transcend the test of time, it was enjoyable.
But this movie has confirmed one thing for sure...
No matter what character she plays...
Shelley Duvall is the ugliest actress in cinema history.
