Review of Nashville (1975) by David D — 22 Jul 2008
My advice for anyone who likes movies - see this. And rent it some night when you're alone. Unplug the phone. Get comfy. This movie is long and has no plot, so you have to immerse yourself into it. Submit to the rhythm like you would to a catchy song. Don't fight it, just let it perambulate you along.
For a movie with such unstructured dialogue and no real plot, this is a surprisingly quotable movie, too - "Tragically injured in a terrible incident involving a fire baton" - oh Lord, I could watch this a hundred times and still dig it.
