Review of Nashville (1975) by Ryan W — 22 Nov 2008
Part of me wanted to hate it with all of its endless country music, part of me figured I technically should have been bored - but I was transfixed every moment of this powerhouse film. Altman structures and executes the whole affair with absolute mastery and an unparalleled ability to capture a sense of an area's culture, of its intersecting, overlapping, human life.
