Review of Nashville (1975) by Omar G — 11 Apr 2009
I know this film is considered an American classic. I know that Altman is a genius. I know that I really wanted to like this movie and place on my list of great films. I think I missed the boat on it. While it does have some terrific moments and characters, I felt it got too bogged down in its own music and dragged on too long in certain spots.
The ending does deliver a good payoff, however, it took too long to get there.
