Nashville is a very real film. It is aimless, funny and sad, much like life. The film also features many details that are very true of the '70s, such as anger towards the military and an increase in violence and sexuality in the United States.
Overall this a brilliant film containing a brilliant all star cast including Lily Tomlin, Geraldine Caplin, and Ned Beatty.
