Review of Nashville (1975) by Jonathan M — 24 Aug 2010
"Nashville" is one of those weird spectacle of Americana that have to be seen and despite being totally bizarre will hold their place of importance for a long time, not for their inherent quality, but for the bravado with which they pillory a cultural institution which seems so over the top as to be beyond satire.
Okay, maybe there is too much singing in this and it is too long, but we must have been doing something right these last two hundred years.
