An excellent film. I only wish Carnahan kept with this style more in Smokin' Aces, rather than moving toward Tony Scott's more MTV-style of shooting. Jason Patric and Ray Liotta are about as good as it could get.
Parallels to the French Connection are not arbitrary, and it deserves to be known in that caliber of filmmaking.
