The best gritty cop films were produced in the 1970s, that is until Narc was made. With all the feel of those gritty cop classics (like Serpico), Narc is a mini-Masterpiece and is quickly becoming a 'cult-classic'.
Ray Liotia's finest work and we are blessed to see it, as there was no money for the actors and there was no money for the movie. It was a labor of love that kicks the viewer in the gut and cheer for the bad guy (cops).
