Review of Nanook of the North (1922) by Robert T — 08 Sep 2007
Though dubbed as the first "documentary", the film is more than a documentary. The footages were raw and emotional. The story was kind of choppy, but what do you expect? It's a documentary.
I wonder where the family are now? Probably old and fragile living somewhere in Canada. Though I know for certain the protagonist died a few years after the filming.
