Seen as part of my TCOM299X, History of Documentary Film, class; this is not only the earliest documentary I've seen (and probably will ever see), but also the earliest film I've seen in its entirety, period.

A very primitive film that, much like March of the Penguins, goes to a place that most do not go, and witness events that most do not witness. Despite its age, it captures several interesting Inuit situations, like building an igloo or hunting a walrus.

This was also important to watch due to its place in cinema history as being the first significant feature-length documentaries.
