I love this movie. it is a foreign film. made in spain, filmed in cuba. it has english substitles but I honestly dont think you will not really appreciate it unless you at least understand spanish. the film is made incredibly well , it is black and white with a hint of color is either an object, a place, a person. the story is based and has humor in it. it is about a girl who parents are trying to get her a visa to come to the u.s. bewhile, she is stuck in havana working for the post office. she gets bored with her job so one day she accidently slips coffee on a letter, and decides to take the envelope home to dry it and try to clean the letter. she decides that the letter is not exactly as created as it should be, so she decides to rewrite the letter. this starts an obsessions with rewriting letters, but at the post office where she works they get a new surpervisor who is out to get her. she then befriends the post office courier to help her in her mission. the turning point is when her visa comes through and she has to choose between the love she has developed with the courier and stay in cuba or leave and reunited with her family in the u,.s.

I really enjoy this movie and netflix has it to rent.
