Review of Mystic River (2003) by Cornell W — 15 Feb 2016
Other than the title barely making sense, I think there are not many flaws with this movie. The mystery to be solved keeps you wondering until the end and it sure as hell is dramatic. It does poses some interesting questions, as "Is someone who is molested as a child really able to live a normal life afterwards?" or "If it almost happened to you, how much does it really change your life".
One last thing I think is worth mentioning, the only black guy in the movie is named "Whitey Powers"? It's almost as if it was on purpose. Then again, Clint Eastwood directed this movie.
