Review of Mystic River (2003) by Andrew S — 11 Mar 2011
It's really melodramatic and basically depressing just for the sake of being depressing. The cast is fantastic but none of them are ever given the chance to do their caliber of work except for Sean Penn and Tim Robbins.
Eastwood should've laid off of Laurence Fishburne's character and delved more into what really mattered.
