Review of Mystic River (2003) by Adriana R — 06 Feb 2013
Overlong and depressing. The film meanders around a murky homicide investigation, grief-filled drudgery, and memories of heinous child abuse. The only redemption comes from the third act, where things finally begin to solidify and come into tragic focus.
