Terrible movie. The concept of Mystery Men is actually pretty interesting, but it is extremely poorly done. The movie just doesn't seem to know what it wants to be. Whether it wants to be a spoof superhero movie or just very childish because a lot of things in the movie are childish.
The action scenes are ok, nothing special. The movie isn't really funny. I expected a few laughs, but a lot of what was supposed to be funny just had me rolling my eyes. The acting was alright and there were a couple standouts.
William H. Macy was good as The Shoveler and Geoffrey Rush was good as Casanova Frankenstein.
