I liked Michelle in the scenes, in which she doesn't try to do the Marilyn image but actually goes for the human being behind the mask. Kenneth Branagh's performance is technically okay, but incredibly boring - maybe because of the dull script.
Judi Dench was funny and touching but she always is. She has so much charm she could make us all fall for her while reading a shampoo ad. TV movie quality.
