I originally marked this as "not interested." I should have stuck with my gut on this one. I loved the book, right up until the terrible thing happened to the ONLY character I gave a damn about.
I loathed the mother in both the book and the movie. This movie made me hate Cameron Diaz. I know the book ending made me mad, but them changing it in the movie pissed me off even more. What a waste of time.
