Review of My Sister's Keeper (2009) by Piyumi D — 07 Aug 2011

Although the film is touching and poignant with some great acting - I have had to mark it down as the director completely changed the ending, against the author's wishes. It therefore ends up cliched and lacks the twist that is so dramatic and brilliant within the book.

I was sorely disappointed when it ended the way it did. Why it was changed I really don't know, but it ruins what could have been a fine film.
