As a teenager in lyon, france, longing for (homosexual) love this movie was such a song of hope and sorrow, yet in a way hinting at the thought that gay love was possible, even if the ending can seem quite sad, that it saved me from early bitterness.
when will they clone river and sell him in supermarkets as an affection toy. i'm sure the world would be a better place.
