Interesting script and good performance from River Pheonix...pity he overdosed so young. Keanu Reeves looked good in the movie whenever he doesn't talk, there always seem to be something missing in his acting, a certain hollowness to his performance.
It felt strange to watch him spout poetic lines in the movie.
