I don't care how amazing and anarchic and mind-blowing it was supposed to be, it was depressing, had a completely unsatisfying ending, and fit together like a badly made patchwork quilt. I took very little pleasure in watching it and I'm thankful that Gus Van Sant has made so many other beautiful and incredible movies.
