Review of My Own Private Idaho (1991) by Lilith L — 11 Nov 2009
Had to see what someone called Keanu Reeves only good performance. I guess considering how insipid he is, it was okay here. I actually enjoyed Scott's "Henry V" inspired storyline more that Mike's deserted-incest-kid story. Just tragedy on top of more tragedy whenever River is on the screen. Scott, on the other hand, seems to have control of his life. Rebelling against his aristocracy at his own whim. Finding love and rejcting his life when he tires of it. Plus, his father-figure Bob is a treat.
Plus, I learned that anyone who spends time in Portland is either hustling, or purchasing hustlers. That includes everyone ever.
